Privacy Policy - Holidays4Travel Ltd.
This privacy policy refers to the way in which Holidays4Travel Ltd. collects and uses any personal information about yourself when using this website. It does not apply to your use of the Internet outside of this website and we would advise that you review third party policies when using other websites.
What information do we collect about you?
Holidays4Travel Ltd. collects personal information about you during the booking process, registration process for the My Booking facility and when you register for email newsletters, holiday requests and certain other services on this website. We may also collect specific information from other parts of this website, for example, when you enter competitions. Details we collect may include your name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number, passport details dietary/special needs.
What do we use your information for?
We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. In order for us to be able to process your booking effectively we must pass the information (which may include sensitive information for the purpose of your booking) on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements. These may be providers such as tour operators, airlines, hotels, transport companies etc. depending on the nature of your booking. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
Your travel supplier may pass this information on to their suppliers in order to facilitate the completion of your holiday. The use of your information by the travel supplier once we have passed it to them is subject to their privacy policy and is therefore their responsibility. If you require a copy of their privacy policy please ask us or them directly.
We may use your information for the purposes set out in our data protection registration with the Office of the Information Commissioner. We may also disclose your information to companies who act as "data processors" on our behalf. Any personal information you give us will not be sold, rented or released to any entities out side of Holidays4Travel Ltd. except where required by us to make your booking with your holiday or travel provider. If your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) the information laws and control of data protection may not be as stringent as the UK.
Credit Card/Debit Card bookings
All credit card information and personal information is encrypted as it is passed between your browser and our payment web site/page (hosted and supplied by WorldPay Ltd - part of Royal Bank of Scotland). When you make a booking your initial payment is cleared using the information you provide. Your credit card number is not held in our database. All encryption is performed using at least 128 bits making it virtually impossible to decrypt without the necessary decryption key. On the final payment page of the booking you will be taken to a web page hosted by WorldPay Ltd (Part of RBS). Although this page appears to be on our server it is not and is displayed using iFrames (a web page within another web page). All credit card details will be taken on the WorldPay hosted page and NOT on any web page hosted by Holidays 4 Travel Ltd. For more information please visit WorldPay at www.worldpay.com
Direct Marketing Material
We may from time to time contact you by post with information on offers of goods and services, brochures, new products, forthcoming events or competitions.
You may indicate your preference to also receive our direct marketing material for the above purposes by telephone or e-communications (e-mail, SMS or e-brochure) on our website or forms.
You may, in addition, indicate your preference regarding receiving third party direct marketing material by post.
If do not wish to receive such information or would like to change your preference, please refer to "Your Rights" below.
Your Rights
You have the right to ask in writing for a copy of the information we hold about you (for which we may charge a fee) and to correct any inaccuracies in your information.
You have the right to ask in writing not to receive direct marketing material about our products and services.
